PUBLIC FUNDING OF CIVIL SOCIETY AND COMMUNITIES IN THE RESPONSE TO HIV AND TB. Experience in six countries of Latin America and the Caribbean.

This document shows lessons learned and best practices of civil society organizations in six Latin American and Caribbean countries in the provision of services and/or project implementation in response to the HIV and tuberculosis (TB) epidemics financed with public resources. The analysis of these experiences seeks to guide countries with no similar mechanisms to move towards sustainability and their strengthening within the changing context of the responses to HIV, TB, and malaria.
