Given the need for sustainability and the transition following the gradual withdrawal of financing from the Global Fund, between June and July 2017, the process of social dialogues between representatives of people affected by and vulnerable to HIV and tuberculosis (TB), and non- governmental organizations involved in the responses to both epidemics was conducted. Thanks to the support of the Regional Technical Assistance Center for Latin America and the Caribbean (CRAT), an action plan up to 2021 was designed, which is expected to contribute to the continuation of successful strategies against HIV and TB, by progressively including it in national plans and budgets, and with the active participation of civil society.
